An icon of the avant-garde culture of a generation, CAVALERA has always stood out on the national scenario for translating the universe of music and art, mixing fashion, behavior, and lifestyle. Created in 1995 by Alberto Hiar and musician Iggor Cavalera, former drummer of Sepultura, the brand reinvents itself every season.
Along its history, CAVALERA has had prominent design professionals in its team. Today, young professionals are in charge of the style, under the creative direction of Alberto Hiar. The strength of the brand is cotton and jeanswear. The spirited tees – which translate a very Brazilian humor – are best-sellers all over the country, as well as the jeans garments with innovate washings and distinguished features, not to mention their excellent fit and wearability.
The brand’s fashion shows are always highly expected during the São Paulo Fashion Week, and take place at unusual locations, including a junkyard at Mooca neighborhood, the Minhocão downtown viaduct, the Rock Gallery, the Ipiranga Museum, the Interlagos Race Course, by the Tietê river banks, among others.
Today, CAVALERA’s flagship store is located in the country’s main fashion corridor: the Oscar Freire street. The brand also has 20 own stores, 9 franchises, and 800 points-of-sale spread out all over the national territory.
