Designer Amir Slama is famous for taking Brazilian fashion to the beach and for putting the country on the international map in the fashion industry. He has translated his creative spirit and his particular take on fashion into a new brand, a project bearing his own name. After gaining monikers like "The Sun King" in the American market, Slama is now using the years of experience he gained at the helm of Rosa Chá to once again transform how the industry sees the summer while proving to be the King of Brazilian beachwear.
The Amir Slama collection has a contemporary, casual and urban feel and easy to use day to day. Detailed research of fabrics, fibers, shapes and prints was part of the entire development process, emphasizing the silhouette and fit of garments. The new brand's summer collection features over 200 items for women as well as for men.
The designer also invested in other differentials. He has a studio at his store, where he serves customers by appointment, creating and developing exclusive items and collections, designed, executed and made to order by Amir Slama. The team will keep these customers' patterns on file to always make personalized items.
The brand also has a special line developed by Amir's colleagues and fellow designers, including Gloria Coelho, Valdemar Iódice, Lolitta Hannud and Lilly Sarti, as well as by labels such as John John, UMA and British Colony.
