Vitorino Campos got the title of ambassador of Bahia's fashion by Vogue. According to the magazine, the 23 year old fashion designer promised to "finally bring Bahia's fashion to the shops of the whole country." One year was enough for Vitorino to present his creations in Rio de Janeiro — within the "Moda Hype" — and two years for selling his creations in the main cities of Brazil.
Exposed to fashion world in 2008, Vitorino graduated in fashion design by the University of Salvador, went to Paris and visited important label ateliers. There he met the International Strategic Director of Gucci, Gregoires Amigues; he also met Marie Ruki of StudioBerço and Guillaume Seynes of Hermés, all of which were clearly enthusiastic about the young designer's talent.
Chosen by "Elle" magazine as one of the seven names of the Haute Couture of the country, Vitorino joined BEST — Brazilian Stylist Association and won the "CONTIGO! Talentos do Brazil" prize, as the best fashion professional of Bahia. L'officiel magazine nominated him one of the five best of Latin America, with a promissory future in the international fashion scene.
