On April 11th, Maison Alexandrine debuted at the catwalks on the first edition of Saudi Arabia Fashion Week, in Riyadh. The CEO and founder of the brand, Alexandra Fructuoso, prepared a special fashion show with the most beautiful and sophisticated collection available in its Dubai showroom that opened this year.
With a team of talented designers combined by Dinho Batista, Rapha Mendonça, Rodrigo Rosner and the Alexandrine Prêt à Couture team, the collection reflects the excellence of manual techniques and explores details in embroidery and applications. Among the pieces are haute couture dresses, linked by a light-colored palette, starting in pastel shades like rosé, blue, nude and off White; and ending in nuances of gold and black.
In honor of the country's culture, the Maison Alexandrine showed, for the first time, a collection of abayas - a simple, loose over-garment, essentially a robe-like dress, worn by some women in parts of the Muslim world.
The brand also showed a bridal collection with handmade details. The entire collection will be available at the showrooms in Dubai, Los Angeles and also at the Maison Alexandrine headquarters in Brazil, located in São Paulo. "I want to promote a fruitful relationship between Brazilian fashion and new markets," says Alexandra Fructuoso, who was selected as a style icon in the Middle East just months after the inauguration of her showroom in Dubai.
