Vibrant. This is the word that best describes the creations of the Brazilian João Foltran, John John Denim’s designer, for the brand’s first fashion show in New York Fashion Week. With an alchemist spirit, he develops his own techniques that result in super-special garments with a wide variety of tones and textures. For the debut on the runway, he took a dip in his 14-year research with denim.
The brand is one of the few in the world that has the Italian certificate Rivetto D'oro. The denim comes from the best factories in Italy and then is wrought in John John’s laundries. “We make an authentic and international’s standard denim, that is why I’m very excited in showing our clothes on NYFW”, concludes the designer.
The presentation of its 2019 Winter Collection in New York also represents the internationalization of the brand. John John opens in February its first flagship in the United States, with address at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles.
