Lenny Niemeyer went on a mystical journey for her Summer 18 season development. As a result, she got a really clean collection referencing abstract art. The pieces pay homage to the female strength and were inspired by the works of Hilma af Klint and Emma Kunz, pioneers of geometric abstraction.
The artwork of both painters can be seen through their remarkable elements such as lines, spheres and triangles, present in the collection’s geometric prints. Soft colors such as Sky Blue and Rose Morocco provide counterpoint for the Tomato Red and Lime Green vibrant colors.
Moreover, the 80's revival shows strength through low-cut swimsuits and draped garments. Following the mystical mood, the accessories bring different stones and shapes like the moon phases, providing even more personality to the season pieces.
