The summer 2016 collection was inspired by the cultural richness of Turkey. The capital, Istanbul, occupies the Bosphorus Straits and northern Sea of Marmara, which separates Asia from Europe, a situation that makes Istanbul the only city that occupies two continents.
The prints were inspired by various references, such as temples, mosques, tapestries and local textile techniques and the beautiful Iznik porcelain, influence of the Ottoman Empire. The strong colors create unusual blends that transform the character of the collection. Prints like ikats and stripes are enriched with delicate details, textures and points of light.
The bikinis accessories were inspired by the Turkish jewelry, made with a mixture of silk and metal and quilting came from the beautiful robes and kimonos, used mainly by men. From a sophisticated look about the exotic culture of Turkey, ViX proposes a private cruise with pieces for every situation.
