Beyoncé wore a Maison Alexandrine's outfit in her new Spirit video clip

Maison Alexandrine created an outfit for American singer Beyoncé. She wore the costume in her new video "Spirit" - which is part of the soundtrack of the movie "The Lion King". The outfit was ordered in early 2019 by the stylist’s singer Zerina Akers.

The costume consists of a teddy and a cape embroidered with pearls with glass and crystals. It took over 18k pearls and 160 hours to embroider the outfit, and it weighs 3.4kgs (about 7.5 pounds). The costume was custom made by 18 hands (via stylist and Alexandrine team). The outfit can be custom ordered in the brand's headquarters, in Brazil for R$ 13k (about US$ 3.5k).

Today Alexandrine is also available in the Middle East - in Dubai, at Galeries Lafayete. Maison Alexandrine has dressed international artists and celebs such as Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan. In Brazil, the brand often works with artists such as Ivete Sangalo, Sabrina Sato, Anitta, Pablo Vittar, Helena Bordon and fashion models from Victoria's Secret hall of stars, such as Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Isabeli Fontana and Barbara Fialho - promoting Brazilian craft work to the world.
