Coterie generates USD 1 million in business for 15 Texbrasil and Fashion Label Brasil

The last month was good business for the 15 Brazilian brands that exhibited at the Coterie apparel and accessories show in New York. The delegation, which was at the American event with the support of the Texbrasil and Fashion Label Brasil internationalization programs – partnerships between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Abest (Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers) with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – did over USD 1 million in business with another USD 2.4 million expected over the next 12 months.

 “This is a quite substantial result, which we believe also reflects the strong numbers in the U.S. economy. Moreover, the higher dollar makes our product more valuable and increases international competitiveness,” says Lilian Kaddissi, Executive Manager at Texbrasil.” We were able to the double sales from the last show, which was held in February,” she added.

For 32 years, Coterie has joined various showrooms, as well as national and international brands. It also welcomes renowned international retailers in addition to featuring a space dedicated to new contemporary fashion designers.
