Tip Toey Joey attends New York trade show PlayTime with support from Fashion Label Brasil

From February 11th to 13th ABEST will attend, for the third time, one of the largest children's fashion trade shows in the world, PlayTime, held in New York City. Brazilian shoe brand Tip Toey Joey will be there with the support of Fashion Label Brasil - Internationalization Program of added value Brazilian Fashion, created by ABEST in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments).

"Tip Toey Joey is experiencing a moment of international expansion and, as United States as the brand's main target, to attend Playtime New York trade show is vital for positioning the brand in this new market. This will place us in direct contact with important retail players, not only from New York City, but from across the country. In addition, the fact that we are the only Brazilian brand in this edition of the fair shows how Brazil has been winning its place in the international children's fashion market," says Tatiana Fernandes, International Expansion Coordinator for Tip Toey Joey.

Headquartered in Franca, São Paulo, the brand was created in the 2000s by couple Ana McInerney and Scott McInerney, a Brazilian native that used to work in advertising and an Australian accountant. Inspired by their newborn daughter, Sofia, and with the dream of owning their own business, they transformed their living room into a home office and creative studio. While Ana created an identity for the brand, Scott drafted the first sketches of his life. Today, the brand has its own plant and a team of 380 employees, produces 32 thousand pairs per month and last year it raised R $ 30 million.
