UNDERTOP LAUNCHES THE NEW COLLECTION IN NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

UNDERTOP, a Brazilian label designed by Juliana Mansur, was established in 2016, to bring a bolder style to the underwear market.  The first collection charmed women in Brazil and abroad, receiving  a  special  demand  from  a  powerful New Yorker  audience. The hype inspired  the  designer  to  partner  with  a  venue  in  Soho  that  attracts  up  and  coming designers that are making a difference.  On  February  10th,  coinciding  with  NYFW,  the  designer  will  be launching  the  2017/2018 collection in an interactive presentation with other designers in New York City.  

The new  collection  titled “Walk  On The Wild Side",  a  Lou  Reed  song,  was inspired in  the special lines  and  geometry of  the  New  York  City architecture,  exploring  eight  important buildings  in  the  city,  like  MoMA  and  its  main  arts, as we  see “Composition  in  Red,  Blue and Yellow“ from Mondrian. 

Sophisticated and versatile, the new collection comes with underwear and clothes that values  women  shapes  inspired  on geometric  designs  like  triangles  for  the  tops,  bras, panties  and  bodies,  to  be  styled  with  complementary items  of the  brand,  like  t-shirts, bomber jackets, skirts and pants. The  new  collection  features  unique  details including;  velvet fabrics  and  fishnet, available  in  subtle  palates  such  as  nude,  pink  quartz,  blue  jeans,  the  camenère and black. 

A creative mix that sets UNDERTOP a part from other brands.  UNDERTOP latest collections are now available in NYC, at the Flying Solo store located in Soho at 224 Mulbery Street.
